On top of the Cho La at 5420m
When I was here one year ago the pass was heaving with tourists this
year I'm the only one here and loving it.

The base camp is quite a boring place after Kalla Pattar and the only reason to
go there is simply to say that you've been there.
The base camp is also used for ascents of Lhotse. The 4th highest mountain at 8,516m.
Donkey doing more climbing again at EBC. He'd become hard to control as he
saw all the Nepalese lady donkeys and kept wanting a quickie with them because
he liked their 'oriental looks'.
Amazing lodges at 5140m at Gorak Shep, 2hrs from Everest base camp
and at the foot of Kala Pattar.
