Lovely Gurung village heading upto the Larke Pass on the Manaslu Trek

Bhimtang vllage/camping spot just below the Larke Pass. 

Many tour groups pass through and camp at this place next to nearby Manaslu Peak  8,163m.

I stayed in the basic but friendly stone hotels on the left.

Inside the hotel at Bhimtang. Porters huddled around the fire/stove and where I

too kept warm. The roof black and sticky from the smoke.  As always beer, Coke and

biscuits are available to temp the western pallet.

 

Heading up the Larke Pass. China is over the other side of the mountains.
